Job Description Summary

The Facility Manager is responsible for providing general FM support to the occupant with facility related request and services. This position will report to the Regional Facility Manager, providing support in in coordinating the work of the support staff and service providers. The duties include but are not limited to the oversight of vendors; including food & beverages, vending, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing, copy room supplies, life safety, janitorial, audio visual, secured shredding, and mailroom. Responsible for the implementation and documentation of Cushman and Wakefield operational standards and guidelines as well as site specific standards, policies, and procedures relating to the facility department support team. These activities align with management agreements, client requirements and Cushman & Wakefield mission, principles, and expertise to grow a unified, engaged and responsible corporate culture that leverages best practices within the Facility Management fields.

About the Role:

  • Manage building Works closely with the Regional FM team to support all facilities activities in providing administrative and general support services.
  • Provides customer service to Cushman & Wakefield Facility Management clients with respect to the maintenance and operation of the building.
  • Understand HVAC and UPS systems, generators, plumbing, electrical, life safety systems.
  • Manages contractors in support of FM operations, including maintaining records and contracts, and coordinating project activities.
  • Provides support in the management of building and equipment maintenance schedules, budgeting and budget variance reports.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of work orders and maintain Service Level Agreement above minimal requirement.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience within the FM industry or Project Management Industry.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Financial acumen and analytical thinking.
  • Knowledge of property market dynamics and regulatory landscape.
