We are looking for a Radio Network Optimization Engineer that will be responsible for performing Tuning and Optimization of 2G/4G/5G network to meet customer requirements in MOCN Project integration/ RAN Network Consolidation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform RF tuning & optimization and other RF related service activities for high capacity wireless networks using GSM, LTE, 5G technologies include MOCN. Improving cells on following KPIs: RRC attempts, RRC Failures, CS/PS RAB attempts, CS/PS RAB failures, DCR, CSTR, SHO attempts/failures, HS attempts, HS retain-ability failure rate, HS accessibility failure rate, etc.

- Perform work independently in delivering tuning and optimization activities and able for utilizing engineering tools such as cell planning tools, drive test data collection and post processing tools, and network performance statistics monitoring and analysis tools.

- Manage network trials and performance data to identify coverage, capacity and interference problems

- Doing identification and analysis of key issues on the network in order to achieve QoS targets for 2G/LTE/5G

- Ensuring first-class support is given to the resolution of customer problems

- Do developing original processes and procedures (Framework and MOP)

- Perform performance and root cause analysis of the air interface issue and

delivering innovative solutions to challenging problems when necessary

- Drive recommendations for changes to the physical and parametric configuration of

cells

- Support investigates, analysis and recommendation also improvement plan on

specific KPI issue in NMS/ Smart Drive/Drive test for accelerating QAC acceptance

- Doing analysis of drive test and drive less (MR/MDT) data and recommendation

- Perform Parameter audit and report preparation

- Perform Improvement plan execution and deliver Performance reports/Post

processing tool

- Provide training and guidance to less experience persons in the area of expertise

- When necessary, leading teams addressing multiple markets performing analytical,

investigative, and/or design activities related to 2G/LTE/VoLTE/5G.

- Manage and familiar with tuning and optimization tool to support delivering activity

such as TEMS, BO, Moshell, geolocation tool, etc

- Tracking and monitor MOCN Functionality test and ACP activities delivered by

subcontractor/ASP

- Drive Subcontractor/ASP to be able to deliver PAC and FAC according to agreed

SLA

- Perform update project database and delivery QC (PAC – FAC) acceptance tracking and reporting

- Follow project roll out process include attend meeting with customer, attend internal meeting with Project and other internal stakeholder, support to achieve target in project schedule.

- ⁠⁠Familiar and able to deliver for some or at least one of the specific activities : WPC Monitoring and Recommendation, CX(Customer Experience)Improvement, Complaint Handling

Key Qualifications :

- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Telecommunications Engineering, MIS or related field.

- Having significant relevant experience and five (5) years of progressive experience tuning and optimizing high-capacity wireless GSM, LTE, or UMTS , 5G networks using RF engineering technology.

- Have good track record as an engineer in the area of Radio Tuning and Optimization technology and/or operations especially for Ericsson equipment/network.

- Familiar with link budgets, RF propagation from cellular antennas, parameters and Radio features of at least one of the following technologies: GSM, LTE and 5G.

- Understand network KPI’s, Ericsson Parameter, Link budget and understand some

Features for 2G/4G/5G preferably Ericsson system

- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Macro, MapInfo or other GIS tools and any other

tools related tuning and optimization.

- Having exposure on data analytic, Machine Learning programming would be

preferred.
