In your new role, you will:
- Develops, designs, and plans equipment and machine layouts, workflow, and safety precautions to maximize utilization of plant and manufacturing facilities.
- Ensures compliance with established industry safety and design standards and guidelines.
- Evaluate worker productivity and recommend improvements to increase manpower efficiency and operating performance, reduce waste and delays, and promote cost control/reductions.
- Develops metrics to measure plant and equipment capacity output, and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks. Establishes accident prevention measures, and plans and schedules training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operation.
- Ensures year-to-year productivity gain: scouts, fosters, and controls implementation of productivity projects at the manufacturing sites, Lead Automation and Operating Team at Sites for Development and Implementation of Standardized Automation Soft- and Hardware and Implementation of Optimized Working Procedures for Non-automated Areas.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IE in PCM (Personnel, Capital, Material) area.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and VSM
- Skills: Minitab, IBM SPSS, and Figma software preferred
- Expert presentation skills.
