Job Description
As the QA/QC Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing quality assurance and control measures throughout the project. Your main duties will include:
- Leading and supervising the QA/QC team, ensuring compliance with established quality standards.
- Ensuring that all quality control processes align with approved Method Statements, Technical Orders/Manuals, and ISO Standards.
- Developing, executing, and reviewing the Project Quality Program, including documentation, work procedures, and quality record reporting to project management.
- Performing inspections and audits to verify adherence to quality and safety regulations.
- Monitoring and tracking progress and approval reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Overseeing and coordinating the storage, loading, and transportation of materials to the project site.
To be a strong fit for this role, you should have:
- Minimum 12 years of direct experience in quality control and assurance, particularly in smelter construction, general construction, or mining construction.
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience in document control, compliance audits, and material inspection procedures.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
