JOB VACANCY:

PHARMACIST

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management:

o Oversee the daily operations of herbal tincture production, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently.

o Coordinate with production staff to meet production schedules while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations.

o Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring adequate supply for production needs.

2. Quality Control:

o Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure all products meet established standards and regulations.

o Conduct regular inspections of both raw materials and finished products to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.

o Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes.

3. Product Development and Compliance:

o Work with R&D to develop new herbal tincture formulations and improve existing ones based on market trends and customer feedback.

o Ensure all products comply with local and international regulations, specifically those set by BPOM for safety and efficacy.

o Prepare and compile necessary documentation for product registration, including ingredient lists, formulations, and testing results.

4. Regulatory Liaison:

o Serve as the primary point of contact with BPOM during the product registration process.

o Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes related to herbal products and incorporate these into production practices and product registration.

o Assist in conducting audits and inspections from regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and standards.

5. Training and Development:

o Train production staff on best practices in manufacturing, safety protocols, and compliance with regulatory standards.

o Promote a culture of continuous improvement through training and feedback, enhancing productivity and product quality.

6. Safety and Hygiene Standards:

o Ensure that all production processes adhere to safety and hygiene standards to protect the health of both staff and consumers.

o Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for the production team to minimize workplace hazards.

7. Reporting and Documentation:

o Maintain accurate records of production data, quality control tests, and compliance documentation for internal and regulatory review.

o Prepare reports on production outcomes, highlighting successes and identifying areas for improvement.

8. Collaboration and Communication:

o Liaise with other departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, and Research & Development) to align on product offerings and market strategies.

o Facilitate effective communication within the production team, promoting teamwork and efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background:

o Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Pharmacy, (Apoteker) or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

2. Experience:

o Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in production supervision, preferably in the herbal, pharmaceutical, phytopharmaceuticals or food industry.

o Proven experience in product registration, particularly with BPOM or other regulatory bodies.

3. Knowledge of Regulations:

o Strong understanding of local and international regulations governing herbal products, specifically BPOM requirements for product registration and quality standards.

o Understand the provisions and standards of CPOTB (Cara Pembuatan Obat Tradisional yang Baik), CAPA (Corrective Action and Preventive Action) and product registration related to formulas.

4. Technical Skills:

o Familiarity with manufacturing processes, quality control protocols, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).

o Experience in formulating and developing herbal products, particularly tinctures, is highly desirable.

5. Leadership and Management Skills:

o Strong technical, leadership, and managerial skills with a holistic understanding of production process flow management

o Demonstrated abilities in team leadership, staff training, and personnel management.

o Experience in setting production goals and managing scheduling to maximize efficiency.

6. Problem-Solving Skills:

o Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address production issues and ensure continuous improvement.

o Ability to think strategically and solve problems quickly

7. Communication Skills:

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both the local language and English, enabling effective interaction with production staff, management, and regulatory bodies.

8. Interpersonal Skills:

o Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and foster positive working relationships across departments.

9. Attention to Detail:

o Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all production processes comply with established quality standards and regulations.

10. Computer Proficiency:

o Proficient in using production management software and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) for reporting and documentation.

11. Certifications (Optional):
