Our client is the world’s leading phosphorus supplier and driving innovation to enhance food security through a complete value chain that includes mining, processing, and manufacturing of fertilizers.

A newly created role, Agronomist Manager/ Lead for Indonesia will be responsible for developing strategies and projects, as well as managing the team. The role involves working closely with the Regional Office (Southeast Asia) to build the fertilizer market in Indonesia. Ensure the execution of scientific trials for new fertilizer formulations and oversee research with local partners on key crops such as rice, cassava, maize, and sugarcane.

The role is home-based in Indonesia, providing the opportunity to work closely with local customers, partners, and other stakeholders to scale the business.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Agriculture or other related fields.
  • Experience in working for an agribusiness company and fertilizer industry in the field of the agronomist or technical support.
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and Detail-oriented
  • A good level of English Language is a must and be able to travel upcountry
  • Right to work in Indonesia, and Bahasa Indonesia language fluency.
