Job description

  • SAP PP Implementation & Configuration: Lead the implementation and configuration of the SAP PP module, ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements.
  • Production Planning & Control: Configure key components like MRP (Material Requirements Planning), production orders, work scheduling, and capacity planning to optimize production processes.
  • Testing & Documentation: Perform unit and integration testing, documenting test results and configurations. Help with go-live support and post-implementation activities.
  • Training & Support: Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support to address production-related issues in SAP PP.
  • Cross-Module Integration: Work closely with other SAP functional modules (e.g., SAP MM, SD, WM) to ensure seamless integration between production planning and supply chain management processes.
  • Optimization & Improvement: Continuously analyze and recommend improvements in production planning processes and SAP system configurations to maximize system efficiency and meet evolving business needs.

Job requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience in the implementation and configuration of the SAP PP module.
  • Experience in production planning and manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of supporting or leading at least one full-cycle SAP PP implementation project.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with SAP PP functionalities, including MRP, production orders, work scheduling, and capacity planning.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP integration between SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales & Distribution), SAP WM (Warehouse Management), and other related modules.
