Description
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. This role includes handling financial reporting, tax filings, cash flow management, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting expertise, knowledge of Indonesian financial regulations, and the ability to act as a financial guidance to various teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and tax compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with Indonesian accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Handle tax filings, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
- Assist in financial analysis and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
- Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with local labor regulations.
- Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to align financial strategies and reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international company or multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (PSAK & IFRS is a plus).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently without external auditors and efficiently under pressure, meeting deadlines consistently.
- Ability to provide financial support and guidance to various teams within the organization to support business operations in a media localization industry.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
