Main Responsibilities

Responsible for the full procurement process from receipt of purchase/service requests from end-users until contract award for agri-business related services and other assigned services. Tasks include:

  • Analyzing and verifying internal documents requesting purchase/service requests.
  • Supporting Vendor Management to select appropriate vendors using local and HQ databases.
  • Preparing contracting strategy and draft letters for necessary approvals.
  • Developing invitation to tender/request for quotation documents, including drafting contracts and reviewing technical specifications.
  • Managing the procurement process transparently and maintaining confidentiality, liaising with technical departments as needed.
  • Leading commercial negotiations with vendors for best pricing and contractual terms; performing contract risk analysis and due diligence checks.
  • Performing Commercial Evaluation; preparing award recommendations and draft letters for approvals.
  • Preparing handover documents and conducting handover meetings to ensure proper transmission of contract information to end-users.
  • Archiving relevant documents to guarantee transparency and traceability for audit purposes.
  • Providing advice and support to Contract Administrators on contract interpretation and post-award claims.
  • Supporting Contracts & Procurement Coordinator with audit queries.
  • Contributing to HSE objectives and promoting sustainability goals.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Contracts & Procurement Coordinator.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Employees must comply with Company Policies, HSE Integrated Management System and Procedures, report all incidents, motivate colleagues to follow HSE rules, participate in HSE initiatives, ensure contractor compliance with HSE standards, and proactively support the company's HSE objectives.

Skills And Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Agricultural Business, or related field.
  • Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management, preferably within the agri-business or related industries.
  • Experience with procurement bidding processes, vendor management and market research.
  • Knowledge of procurement policies and best practices.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Detail-oriented with strong negotiation, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to working with high integrity and ethics.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity in handling all matters.
