The Role
As a Project Communication Officer for TAF-GTEI, you’ll be at the core of our mission, supporting the Project in designing and implementing impactful communication strategies. You will take charge of crafting high-quality media releases, creating engaging content for web and social platforms, and representing the Facility at both internal and external events to ensure our message reaches and resonates with a wide audience.
We’re looking for a creative communicator who’s eager to make a difference. The ideal candidate should be an excellent communicator with strong attention to detail and able to juggle multiple projects, and collaborate across teams internationally. Your role will be essential in elevating the visibility of NIRAS and its work on sustainable development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Write and edit engaging communication materials—press releases, web content, social media, reports, and more
- Help implement internal and external communication strategies.
- Provide administrative and logistical support, including preparing presentations, speeches, and reports, attending key meetings, taking notes, and organizing marketing, networking, and promotional events.
- Drafting and posting social media and web content in line with the project’s communication strategy.
- Monitor media coverage and project visibility.
- Engage with diverse stakeholders, manage and updating media contact lists.
- Ensuring the project's visual identity is maintained across all communication materials and platforms.
- Ensuring the project supports the NIRAS’ external image.
- Coordinate with the broader NIRAS communications team for stronger outreach
You might fit the criteria if you are
- A Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with creativity in content creation and able to think outside the box.
- Experience in event planning, content creation, and report writing.
- A strong understanding of social media strategies and media relations, with proficiency in using various social media platforms.
- Proficiency in office management software, design tools like Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva are a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
- A collaborative, positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
