Role Purpose
- The Role of VP – Head of Strategic Sourcing Marketing and Services is to lead and manage the end-to-end sourcing of Marketing and Services including but not limited to product devices, SIM Cards and Vouchers, Consultant Services, ATL-BTL Marketing Media, Special Events organizations, facility support services and Managed Services.
- The Role of VP – Head of Strategic Sourcing Marketing and Services is also to lead and be the owner to conclude the commercial and contracting negotiations with the respective vendors including OEM.
- This role is also responsible for the Contract Management of marketing and services contracts and other major contracts with vendors for SIM cards and Voucher supplier, Media and Brand Agency, Special Events organizations and Managed Services providers.
- The Role of VP – Head of Strategic Sourcing Marketing and Services is to develop and mentor the team members. Including coaching and undertake sourcing activities from tender process, negotiation, supplier selection, vendor management review and monitoring post contract management.
Job Description
Strategic Planning
- Translate the Company and Group Vision, Mission and Strategy into divisional work plan
- Provide and clarify divisional objectives for the team
- Establish divisional KPI based on organizational scorecard and cascaded down the teams
- Manage division budget based on work-plan and control the utilization/realization of it
End to End Sourcing Process
- To lead and manage end-to-end sourcing process;
- To define and implement the sourcing strategy;
- To serve as the escalation point of contact for IOH stakeholders and Group Sourcing’s vendors on sourcing matters;
- To maintain and review Group Sourcing’s supplier(s) performance and relationship;
- To align the usage of the contract with PO released
Sourcing Strategy and Execution
- To develop sourcing strategy in order to achieve organization’s target
- Oversee and execute the sourcing activities (including any requests for issue RFPs and direct negotiations) in accordance to SOPP, carrying out negotiation strategy and lead negotiations on pricing and contract terms and conditions IN ORDER TO achieve organization’s targeted cost savings as well as quality and performance
Contract Negotiation
- To monitor and manage Group Sourcing’s contracting process;
- To handle and provide resolution for claims and disputes related to Group Sourcing contracts;
- To work across the organization to build support for negotiations during the negotiating process.
Vendor Management
- To review and score the vendor’s performance based on the feedback of the stakeholders.
- To support stakeholders in communicate to vendors when necessary in relation to any dispute
- Communicate vendor feedback to external and internal stakeholders.
- Reporting the vendor’s performance review result to stakeholders and management in order to bridge communication and relationship in supporting group to meet its goal
Team Management
- Develop and mentor team member(s) to achieve divisional objectives
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, make recommendations to supervisor and implement actions, such as promotions and dismissals
- Provide feedback to GH to work with HR team to create the succession plan for the function/ organization and attract, motivate and retain top talent to ensure alignment with the plan
- In order to ensure talents are attracted, retained developed to meet organizational needs.
- In order to ensure division operates on budget and help contribute to organizational goals
Qualification
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Finance from a recognized university
Related Experience:
- At least 12 years of relevant working experience in supply chain in Indirect Spend Management with demonstrated negotiation skills, commercial acumen and supplier relationship management.
- Knowledge and experience in contracting, post contract and vendor management and/or contract management.
- Experience in developing and managing a team of sourcing managers.
Skills:
- Passionate about understanding stakeholder requirements and ensuring their expectations on vendors and deliveries are captured and included in RFx and subsequently in Contract to protect Indosat’s interest.
- Advance knowledge in commercial analysis such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Net Present Value (NPV)
- Ability to maintain impartial and provide objective assessment and recommendation for any commercial and contractual issues or disputes;
- Able to motivate a team to continually challenge and improve sourcing principles and process.
- Possess a high standard of personal and professional integrity.
