This position reports to

Business Manager - E2E

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, and driving revenue growth for ABB’s motion control products in various industries and maintain it, to improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations. Each day, you will define, plan, lead, and ensure the execution of sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets for products, systems, and/or services to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the Sales organization (other sales managers and sales specialists within scope) to achieve the sales targets, through high performance.

The work model for the role is: #Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Motion System Drives in Jakarta.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Anticipating and identifying the shortfalls in performance and takes appropriate remedial actions, proactively.
  • Identifying and evaluating new opportunities with existing and potential customers, determines plans for implementation, and allocates required resources.
  • Planning and executing customer surveys and acts on the survey results to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Participating in the negotiation of key contracts.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on industrial automation, motion control, or drives solutions.
  • Proven track record of successfully selling complex technical products and solutions, particularly in the Motion System Drives sector.
  • Strong knowledge of ABB Motion Drives products and solutions is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
