About the team:
You'll be working for a dynamic and diverse team of professionals who are passionate about our mission and committed to delivering results. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Execute the established merchant acquisition strategies to acquired new leads and maximize business opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on and achieve merchant acquisition goals.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential merchants, introducing them to Grab’s ecosystem and value proposition.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies and address merchant needs effectively.
- Manage the end-to-end merchant acquisition process, from initial outreach to onboarding, ensuring a smooth handover to account management teams.
- Close monitoring & Validating, Track daily progress against targets, provide constructive feedback to team members, and implement improvements to drive performance.
- Deliver structured updates with well-defined action items, designated stakeholders, and clear ETAs to ensure the timely resolution of all pending backlog tasks.
- Do coaching, mentor and guide the frequently, providing constructive feedback and strategies to enhance their overall performance and productivity.
What Essential Skills You Need:
- University graduate or higher education in business or relevant fields;
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in Sales or Account Management;
- Strong knowledge of sales funneling and sales canvassing strategies.
- Good understanding and experience of the relevant industries including customer services, Account Management and Business Development.
- F&B industry background is an advantage
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English being an advantage.
- Ability to read and do presenting the complex funneling dashboard
- Microsoft Office skills are required (MS. Excel / Spreadsheet, MS. Word and MS. Powerpoint)
- Spreadsheet Skill: Ability to design simple yet insightful dashboards or trackers, with a strong emphasis on clarity and functionality.
- A team player but also able to work independently
- Energetic and enthusiastic in a very dynamic and fast pace working conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills with excellent leadership skills
