Responsibilities:

  • Ensures all operations comply with safety and environmental regulations, focusing on injury prevention, accident investigations, and environmental protection.
  • Overseeing safety audits, conducting health evaluations, managing safety talks, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards across Sangatta site.
  • Lead and ensure the implementation of safety measures, focusing on the appropriate FPE (Fatal Potential Events) in all MSD (Mining Safety Department) areas.
  • Oversee and document safety talks, sharing sessions, and health campaigns to ensure employees are informed of safety protocols, including fatigue management and emergency training.
  • Monitor accident investigations, including fatality reports and ensuring they are disseminated to all employees.
  • Conduct health evaluations for employees and monitor potential fatigue-related risks.
  • Ensure that SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and PTO (Plan Task Observation) are provided and followed in all work areas.
  • Ensure the completion of mandatory training programs for supervisors, including safety inspections, basic investigations, and emergency response protocols.
  • Review and update the HIRADC (Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for Control) document, focusing on serious injury and fatality risk areas.
  • Oversee environmental compliance including waste management and energy conservation initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience of HSE in mining industry
  • Bachelor's degree in HSE or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of safety management systems, including HIRADC, SMKP, and Prima Nirbhaya protocols.
  • Expertise in safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Ability to conduct safety talks and provide educational sessions on various safety-related
  • Excellent understanding of mining facilities, infrastructure, installations, and equipment inspection protocols.
  • Skilled in conducting safety investigations and ensuring follow-up on recommendations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, ensuring effective dissemination of safety-related information.
  • Excellent in networking with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in Indonesian laws and regulations.
  • Ahli Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Umum (AK3U BNSP) certification
  • Knowledge of government regulations related to mining safety and environmental protection (e.g., Kepmen Minerba No.1827/2018 & Kepdirjen Minerba No 185/2019).
  • Other OHSE certification (e.g. Fire Fighter, First Aid)
  • Proficient in written & spoken English
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office
