What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role:
- Support the product team in planning and executing core banking migration strategies.
- Assist in requirement gathering, documentation, and analysis to ensure a smooth transition.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to track progress and resolve potential issues.
- Conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy before and after migration.
- Monitor system performance and provide insights on possible improvements.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for project tracking and stakeholder updates.
- Help with user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-migration evaluations.
- Document lessons learned and best practices for future migrations.
What Is Required and What We’re Looking For
- Strong technical ability and attention to detail in handling migration tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Basic understanding of core banking systems and financial processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with SQL or other database query languages.
- Knowledge of API integrations and system architecture.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Confluence, or Tello.
