The Role
We are seeking an established Country Head to provide leadership and strategic direction to our Indonesia business and collaboration with the wider SJ Group strategy. As Country Head, and most senior in-country representative, you’ll look after all our people on the ground and all aspects of our local operation, protecting our reputation and possibly acting as statutory director for local legal entities.
In the role, you will foster consistency and cohesion across the region, with a focus on growing the Infrastructure + Energy business line where you’ll providing commercial strategies, business development, client relationships, governance and project performance.
Your responsibilities will extend to the development and execution of the Strategic Action Plan, while also ensuring the overall success and profitability of our operations, resource mobilisation, and capability development to seek/explore expansion opportunities in our Building + Cities and PMC business lines.
As an ideal candidate, you will have:
- Extensive experience in the industry with proven success in Management roles with a focus on Infrastructure + Energy industry.
- Well established industry profile and active involvement in the Transport industry associations and/or in other Building/Infrastructure markets.
- Ability to establish and maintain client relationships, providing expert business development advice.
- Tertiary engineering qualifications in a relevant discipline; postgraduate and project management qualifications highly regarded.
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and market trends globally.
- High level communication skills, including negotiating and resolving highly complex commercial, technical and people matters.
