Position Summary

The Territory Manager drives sales growth, customer acquisition, and business development within an assigned region. They build strong client relationships, implement sales strategies, and lead a team to achieve revenue targets. This role also involves market analysis, compliance management, and performance monitoring to ensure sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer/User Relationship Management: Building/Acquiring and maintaining strong relationships with customers in the assigned territory. This involves understanding their financial needs, providing personalized services, and addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
  • Sales and Business Development: Developing strategies to acquire new customers, retain existing customers, cross-sell financial products, and increase revenue within the territory while maintaining a prudent level of CAC. This includes setting sales targets, identifying opportunities for growth, and implementing sales plans to achieve objectives.
  • Market Analysis and Planning: Conducting market research to understand the competitive landscape, identify trends, and assess opportunities for business expansion within the territory. Based on the analysis, the Territory Manager develops strategic plans to capitalize on market potential.
  • Team Leadership and Management: Responsible for providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure team members meet their targets and deliver exceptional output.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensuring that all activities within the territory comply with regulations, policies, and procedures. This includes managing risks associated with the financial products and its operations.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and OKRs and prepares regular reports to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and make informed decisions to the management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, or territory management, preferably in the financial sector.
  • Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Experience in market analysis, risk assessment, and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Leadership skills with experience in managing and motivating a team to achieve business targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, data analysis, and performance tracking tools.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus.
