Role Description
Chief Engineer will oversees the Engineering Department, ensuring the effective management of engineering, pool, and garden operations across all properties under Pertama Management, including both stand-alone and complex property located in Seminyak, Canggu, and Uluwatu.
Responsibilities
- Recruiting, training, and developing the Engineering, Pool, and Garden teams.
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.
- Planning, assigning, and dispatching work orders to the Engineering team.
- Overseeing daily maintenance operations across all managed properties.
- Ensuring engineering systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC..) are working optimally.
- Implementing preventive maintenance and compliance of safety standards.
- Organizing and overseeing repairs, installations, and renovation projects.
- Responding to emergency situations such as electrical failures and plumbing leaks.
- Coordinating with vendors and ensuring work completion as per agreed terms.
- Managing tools, machinery, and equipment, including proper storage.
- Overseeing the condition of pools, gardens, and outdoor facilities.
- Maintaining proper records of repairs, maintenance logs, and completed tasks.
- Managing costs, inventory of supplies, and safe equipment storage.
- Keeping records of engineering expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Providing regular maintenance reports and updates to Operations Manager.
