We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will collaborate with our sales and technical teams to drive cloud adoption and deliver tailored AWS solutions to our clients. You will act as a trusted advisor, engaging with customers to understand their business needs, provide technical expertise, and design scalable, cost-effective AWS architectures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the sales team to identify customer requirements and provide AWS-based solutions.
  • Conduct or assist partners in technical presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and hands-on proof-of-concept (PoC), for potential customers.
  • Working together with Solution Architect team in designing AWS architectures that align with best practices for security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Assist partners in proposal development, including technical documentation and solution pricing.
  • Respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and RFIs (Requests for Information) with detailed AWS solutions.
  • Present at public events, conferences, and webinars, showcasing AWS solutions, best practices, and success stories.
  • Stay up to date with AWS services, trends, and best practices to provide expert guidance.
  • Support post-sales teams in the transition from sales to project implementation.
  • Collaborate with partners and internal teams to enhance service offerings.
  • Create and maintain re-usable assets (ex: slide decks, battlecards, discovery questions, etc) that improves customer engagement
  • Improve partner and customer experience based on collected feedback to strengthen relationships and ensure long-term success.

JOB SKILL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Core Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a pre-sales role for Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, etc.).
  • Experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework, cost optimization strategies, and cloud migration methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, multiple stakeholders, and international teams.
  • Fluency in English is a must, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with global teams

Additional Advantageous Skills:

Any experience with the following technologies is a plus:

  • Other cloud service providers (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Advanced AWS services, such as:
    • Container services (EKS, ECS, ECR)
    • Data analytics (Redshift, Glue)
    • AI/ML services, including Generative AI
  • Large-scale cloud migration with more than 50 VMs or servers
  • Relational database solutions such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle Database
  • Microsoft solutions, including Active Directory, SQL Server, Hyper-V, etc.
  • VMware solutions, such as vSphere, VCF, vSAN, etc.
  • Container solutions, including Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, etc.
  • Software development

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related Information Systems Degree
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate
