Job Summary

Responsible for achieving sales targets according to the set budget and business development of new products from suppliers. Providing business to Business Managers for both existing and new products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers through regular reviews and visits to introduce and/or offer products according to customer needs (including new products) and gain new market share.
  • Understand pharma market of the customer's business and their needs and conduct market surveys on supplier products.
  • Create monthly reports for suppliers containing, among others, sales data, progress on new product business development.
  • Negotiate prices, shipping methods and product specifications with the Business Development Manager/Sales Manager/Business Manager.
  • Prepare monthly sales, monitoring product inventory (stock of goods) in order manage purchasing plans.
  • As a liaison between suppliers and other sales team as main responsibility if there are complaints and providing the technical support needed for the product.
  • Work closely with technical, business development, pharma service & industry market management department to develop opportunities in pharma and nutraceutical markets.
  • Plans out customer visit independently. Monitors, updates, and submits report of competitors and keeps records in CRM of existing and prospective customers.
  • Support the team with other responsibilities as required

Job Requirement/Specification:

Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or any related field

Experience : At least 3 years in Pharmaceutical industry. Strong experience in the Sales and Marketing. Proven track record in business development role into relevant industry.

  • To adapt and develop solutions to customers’ needs with clear and decisive communication.
  • Strong research & strategic analysis skills and collaboration, negotiation, persuasion skills
