Your Responsibilities
- Identify business growth opportunities and assess market trends.
- Analyze the commodity portfolio to uncover potential trading opportunities.
- Apply appropriate trading strategies in response to various market conditions or economic trends.
- Lead negotiations for buying and selling activities to maximize profitability.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on purchasing and sales decisions.
- Monitor supply and demand dynamics that influence trades and valuations.
- Track international market performance and trends.
- Manage customer relationships and maintain strong connections with key market players.
- Cultivate and nurture long-term business relationships with existing clients and potential trading partners.
- Drive operational efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the operations team to oversee the physical settlement of commodities.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Business, Agribusiness, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Agricultural Commodities Trading (e.g., Soybean, Corn, Soybean Meal, Corn Gluten Meal).
- Experience in international agricultural commodities trading.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to take initiative and think critically.
- A customer-oriented mindset with an entrepreneurial approach.
- Meticulous attention to detail, result-driven, and hands-on.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and spoken, in English and Bahasa.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong presentation skills in both English and Bahasa.
