Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and oversee the payroll processing function, ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages to employees.
- Manage payroll staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Review and approve payroll transactions, including timesheets, deductions, and tax withholdings.

- Assist with the design and implementation of employee recognition and incentive programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Educate employees about their compensation and benefits packages, including conducting employee meetings and providing informational materials.
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues related to compensation and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing employee compensation and benefits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field; Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll processing, compensation analysis, and benefits administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Thorough knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HRIS and benefits administration systems preferred.
