As part of their growth strategy, they are looking for a highly skilled HR Manager to join the team, with a focus on Organizational Development (OD) and Training. This role is critical in shaping the future of our workforce, especially in an aging workforce, and fostering a culture of knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

Organizational Development (OD):

  • Assess and redesign organizational structures to ensure efficiency, alignment with business goals, and a strong culture of collaboration.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, performance, and retention.
  • Oversee workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management to ensure long-term sustainability.

Training & Development:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs, focusing on skill development, leadership, and knowledge transfer to support the growth of the workforce.
  • Design strategies for knowledge sharing, particularly to address the aging workforce and ensure effective knowledge transfer between senior and junior employees.
  • Identify training needs across departments, creating programs that align with both short-term goals and long-term organizational growth.

Knowledge Transfer & Workforce Succession:

  • Develop and execute a robust knowledge transfer plan to ensure that critical industry expertise is retained within the company as older employees prepare for retirement.
  • Foster mentoring and coaching programs that encourage cross-generational collaboration and effective skill transfer.

HR Leadership & Strategy:

  • Provide leadership in all HR functions, including employee relations, compensation, and benefits, ensuring policies are aligned with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with management and departmental heads to align HR practices with business strategies and objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on HR metrics to senior management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 10+ years of HR experience, with a strong background in Organizational Development and Training, particularly in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
  • Experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment is a must.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing OD and training programs to drive organizational growth.
  • Ability to work with an aging workforce, particularly in fostering knowledge transfer and mentoring.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and creativity.
  • Willingness to commit to a 6-month contract with the potential for a permanent position.
