Card Center Specialist is a professional who specializes in managing the day-to-day operations of the card issuance processing and maintenance functions of the card processing, personalization and delivery infrastructure in accordance with the SLA. This role involves working with internal teams and vendors to ensure the card operational process runs smoothly. Their goal is to ensure the SLA for cards production and delivery are in accordance with the organization targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily card operational process.
- Coordinating with other stakeholders to ensure the card operational process runs smoothly (including compliance with regulatory and card return management).
- Coordinate regularly (daily and monthly) with each vendor to ensure that the support provided for the card process (from card request to card delivery) is still in accordance with expectations , including coordinating regarding new cards production projects.
- Perform card stocking forecasting.
- Review audit findings related to card operations, provide initiatives and feedback to the audit findings or improvement plans that need to be made to monitor the action items carried out.
- Find root causes and provide initiatives related to the card operational process, from the card request process, card production, to card delivery.
- Ensuring the SLA for cards production and delivery are in accordance with the targets.
- Make invoice payments to vendors in accordance with the deadlines.
- Provide cross-team support in accordance to the team’s needs & his/her capacity.
- Coordinating with partners/PIC partners related to projects that will be running or are already running so that they can be implemented properly.
- Continuously assess and refine the bank's card operations processes to enhance efficiency and achieve SLA for card production and delivery..
- Recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and technologies used in card operations to achieve SLA for cards production and delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in All Major
- Min 3 years of work experience and have experience in the field of Bank Card Management.
- Preferably have knowledge of Visa/Master/GPN Card Management System, Supply chain and distribution management.
- Attention to detail
- Have Advanced database / excel skills
- Have excellent English skills
- Certifications in banking or financial services would be a plus.
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and industry standards.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and interact with multiple stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Have knowledge of Visa/Master/GPN Card Management System, Supply chain and distribution management.
- Experience with card management systems (e.g. ALTO) and workflow tools (e.g. JIRA).
- Proficiency in Excel (or similar spreadsheet tools), including using advanced formulas, pivot tables, and creating custom reports.
- Ability to maintain productivity and quality of work during high-pressure periods, such as quarter-end, year-end, or other times when card operations may be more challenging.
