SID is dedicated to improving health and human development at the community level through research, evidence-based programs, participatory decision-making, and sustainable actions. Since 2007, SID has been implementing various maternal and child health research, digital health projects, and programs across Indonesia in partnership with national and international organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, and maintain data collection and analysis including Specimen Analysis in support of the research protocol and may coordinate the collection and analysis of research data
  • Oversee data collection activities, including quality control and data management strategies, while ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of research and data collection activities that correlates with research objectives
  • Prepare project documentation, establish project timelines, ensure timely execution, and develop and coordinate research study protocols and operational procedures
  • Foster engagement with international and national stakeholders, ensuring comprehensive project updates, while building and overseeing relationships with partner organizations and technical advisors. This includes organizing regular stakeholder meetings for effective communication of study requirements, milestones, and field challenges
  • Support local level health and education institution managers and healthcare workers to implement activities and design monitoring & evaluation (M&E) of activities, collection of data against indicators, analysis of information to build reports, and facilitate partner organization capacity building in M&E

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Epidemiology, Medical Sciences, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in planning, implementing, and managing data collection and analysis processes, including specimen analysis. Familiarity with research protocols and data collection techniques is essential
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to establish project timelines, ensure timely execution, and coordinate research study protocols and operational procedures
  • Possess proficient report writing skills, along with strong abilities in computer operations, database management, and effective communication
  • Communication skills to work effectively with team members, support personnel, partners, and health workers
  • Professional-level English proficiency is more preferable
  • Experience in doing public health research is a plus
  • Domiciled or willing to relocate to our project sites
