Job Purpose

Responsible for corresponding with agents, preparing proposals and quotations, and coordinating with internal departments and all concerned business partners to ensure that all reservations are made as per the agents’ requirements and in a timely manner.

Accountabilities

  • Motivated & some Experience in Reservations and Quotations.
  • Service orientated, enjoying interactions.
  • Excellent time & work management skills.
  • Respond to and manage in-coming requests in a friendly, welcoming and efficient manner.
  • Accountable for designing travel packages as per client preferences and budgets, acting as an advisor and partner.
  • Manage reservations for hotel accommodation, suppliers, restaurants, and all services included in a holiday itinerary or ready-made package.
  • Prepare travel itineraries and ensure travel arrangements; all reservations, passenger details, logistic information, internal notes are updated on operating system in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure revenue is maximized by up-selling and recommending the right services and tours.
  • Assist and resolve any guest complaints in a timely and professional manner to the best of your ability.
  • Coordinate with all concerned departments to ensure that all services are booked and reserved accordingly in order to ensure all runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Handle and follow up on payments or deposits for bookings which do not have credit arrangements with the company and coordinate with Accounting Department on payments from the clients.
  • Issue invoices and follow up payment and deposit with customers.
  • Achieve a high ratio of conversions versus enquiries.
  • Any tasks that assign by the supervisor/manager/HOD.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in tourism, hospitality, business or languages would be an advantage.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English.
  • Detailed destination and product knowledge of Indonesia.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to resolve customer issues.
  • Passionate about Travel and want to tell visitors about Wonderful Indonesia!

Experience

  • Sales and Tailor-Made Quotation Experience in the Travel, Tourism and/or Hospitality Industry / Travel Consultant role preferred.
  • Experience with FIT and GIT reservations is preferred.
  • Experience working with UK, USA, European & Latin American markets an advantage.
  • Experience in various travel operating systems (such as Travel Studio, Tourplan and similar) would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge or Experience working in multi-country would be an advantage.

Skills

  • Good working command of written and spoken English (other languages are an advantage).
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks.
  • Good computer literacy (MS Office; Travel related software such as Travel Studio).
  • Ability to work as a team and enjoying interactions.
  • Good negotiation skill.
