Job Description:
Key Accountabilities Manufacturing:
- Engage with the PMO and lead the project for commissioning of the manufacturing facility in Indonesia
- Ensure the factory deliver the right quantity, right quality and on time delivery at the optimum cost and resources
- Make sure the implementation of Good Standard of Safety and Hygiene of the manufacturing facility to provide a safe and clean working environment
- Working together with JV Partner to make sure all permits are always valid and make sure the compliance to local regulation is in place
- Bringing about a culture of Continuous improvement in the manufacturing organisation
- Develop people reporting in the role
Supply Chain:
- Manage Supply Chain operations (Warehouse and Delivery) to ensure cost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Consolidate the demand forecast from all countries in SEA for MTS and booking capacity for MTO to execute the business plans
- Make sure all demands are well accommodated in the production plan and the capacity is used in optimal manner
- Immediately highlight any potential delay to the respective country and share both reason and mitigation plan
- Ensure that on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery is achieved and Customers' expectations on standards and requested delivery lead time are met within the agreed time frame in a safe and cost-effective manner
- Oversee inventory management including good control of obsolete and slow-moving inventory.
- Oversee the procurement of the equipment and raw materials to ensure that they meet with Keva quality and delivery lead time.
- Ensure the packaging and labelling as governed by the regulatory bodies for shipments within and outside the region.
Quality and EHS:
- Make sure implementation of Good Quality Management System to ensure the consistency of the quality in both raw materials and products.
- Make sure implementation of Good EHS Management System
- Ensure FTR rates as agreed with the Regional Leader / Country Head
- Lead the QA initiatives to bring about improvements aligning to customer expectations both for product and services
Manufacturing Expense:
- Deliver the Factory project within the approved cost and timelines
- Develop and control manufacturing / operations budgets to make sure the company has all the resources required to meet its objectives within agreed financial KPIs.
- Continuously seek cost optimization, balancing throughput, inventory and manufacturing expense.
- Work closely with the Parent organisation team to enable smooth working and healthy flow of information within the group
Operation Leadership and Management:
- Maintain working relationships with all other functions in the company to ensure effective co-ordination of all company activities in support of corporate objectives.
- Develop the Site Master plan (5-year outlook) for required capacity and budget requirements; annually prepare the Operations Capital Budget; prepare Capital requests and manage capital projects
- Develop the Operations Plan based on Operational targets and capital Budget.
- Make sure Continuous Improvement process in place
- Develop MIS for the Productivity and Operational effectiveness
Requirement:
- Graduated in Engineering degree or equivalent and relevant professional qualifications.(Qualifications, experience or relevant knowledge required e.g., Industry)
- Minimum 10 years leadership experience in a Manufacturing & Supply Chain Environment, working in Chemical, Fragrance, Flavour, or Food/ingredient Manufacturing multinational industry background.
- Strong knowledge and implementation experience in IMS / SMETA / GMP / HACCP / GHS labelling etc will be an added advantage.
- Proven track record of extensive Operations Management.
- Ability to effectively influence and motivate others, and collaborate effectively with all levels, with demonstrated ability as a change agent.
- Analytical, problem solving and presentation skills.
- Project Management Skills to build a greenfield / brownfield project.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluency in English.
- Ability to work across cultures.
Budget: Rp. 60,000,000 - Rp. 70,000,000 (Gross) (Negotiable)
