An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining and have a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.

To support our Exploration Operations team on our project at Sumbawa Barat, NTB, we are looking for highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the following position:

Some of your duties will include:

  • Design an optimal benchmark network system as a reference for mining operations and core/non-core facility construction.
  • Conduct stakeout surveys and volume calculations for cut-and-fill areas, including mine roads, core and non-core facilities, waste dumps, and tailing dumps.
  • Perform land surveys and verification for acquired areas, including APL (Agricultural Production Land) and Forestry land.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly progress surveys and reports for mine development.
  • Measure and report progress updates on out-pit and in-pit dumps versus planned layouts.
  • Perform stability monitoring surveys for pit slopes and stockpiles.
  • Conduct joint surveys and verification of ore stockpile or ROM (Run-of-Mine) volume.
  • Ability to work in a remote/mining site environment

What skills and experience do you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering. Placement in West Sumbawa, NTB. Preferably male.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in open-pit mining surveys and supporting mining facilities.
  • Proficient in Surpac, AutoCAD, and geoid and ellipsoid projection systems (WGS 84).
  • Holds a Certified Mine Surveyor (PPSDM) certificate from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).
  • Holds a PoP competency certificate.
  • Skilled in operating Total Station, Geodetic GPS, and RTK
