National Sales Manager – Business Unit Poultry & Egg, Indonesia

About the Role
Big Dutchman Asia is seeking a National Sales Manager to drive business growth in Indonesia’s poultry and egg sector. This role requires a strong sales leader who can build and maintain long-term customer relationships while strategically growing market share. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing tailored solutions for customers, and ensuring that our innovative poultry farming technologies continue to meet the needs of the market.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and drive sales growth for Big Dutchman’s Poultry & Egg business in Indonesia, ensuring long-term customer success and market expansion.
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan that aligns with customer needs, industry trends, and Big Dutchman’s business objectives.
- Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to continuously refine sales strategies.
- Work closely with the Directors Sales, Asia to define the market strategy, including pricing recommendations and competitive positioning.
- Actively maintain and update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for effective customer tracking, follow-ups, and sales reporting.
- Provide consultation on farm design and equipment layout, ensuring optimal solutions tailored to customers’ operational needs.
- Engage in technical discussions with customers to recommend solutions that balance performance, efficiency, and budget considerations.
- Work closely with Customer Solutions and HQ teams to ensure smooth order handling and relay customer feedback for product improvements.
- Represent Big Dutchman at trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events, strengthening brand visibility and customer relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop sales materials, proposals, and solution templates to support business development.
- Lead, coach, and manage the local sales team, ensuring strong performance, customer engagement, and professional development.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Animal Production, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B investment goods sales, preferably within agriculture or industrial equipment.
- Proven business acumen with a successful track record in market expansion and sales strategy execution.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with an ability to understand and address customer needs effectively.
- Proactive, self-driven, and able to work independently, while also leading and motivating a team.
- Experience in technical sales or sales engineering within agriculture will be an added advantage.
- Ability to travel within Indonesia and occasionally internationally as needed.
