- Oversee preventative maintenance programs for equipment and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with other departments to integrate sustainable practices into operations.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of operations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents related to the WWTP's utilities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead implementation efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in utility management within a large-scale industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Experience with CMMS software and data analysis tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
