Role Description

Retail Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day P&L Management, Finance, Sales, Retail, and Budgeting operations within a specific region. They will also develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, manage staff, and drive growth in the retail operations. This is a full-time on-site role located in Jakarta, Indonesia. Below is the main roles and responsibility for:

  • Developing Foom Stores (branded flagship and experience stores) from the strategic and growth plan to contribute overall sales contributions
  • Plan, target, approach and negotiate potential Foom Stores location include finalising better deal and agreement with the location owners/management
  • Manage E2E retails expansion and operations both from owned and partner store model, start from location selections, pre opening, opening and post opening stage
  • Develop pipeline and acquire partners to open Foom Store in different type of store archetypes
  • Organize all store operations and allocate the responsibilities for personnel in area, retails store
  • Manage and lead Store Manager, Foom Expert, and Retail teams towards maximum performance
  • Standardise Foom Store services and operations both from owned and partner store model to gain best in class customer experience
  • Inspect the areas in the store and resolve any issues that might arise
  • Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays and collaborate with trade, brand, and digital marketing team
  • Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the store
  • Analyze sales and revenue reports and make sales forecasts in the regular basis

Qualifications

  • P&L Management, Finance, and Budgeting skills
  • Sales and Retail skills
  • Experience in managing and developing staff
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the retail industry
  • Experience in the e-cigarette industry is a plus
