Job Summary:

The Head of Repair and Maintenance oversees the maintenance, repair, and overall operational efficiency of all Gold’s Gym Indonesia facilities. This role ensures that all equipment, infrastructure, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe, clean, and high-performing environment for members and staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, preventive maintenance, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop preventive maintenance programs to ensure gym equipment and facilities operate optimally.

- Manage and lead a team of maintenance and repair staff across multiple locations.

- Oversee and coordinate maintenance schedules, repairs, and equipment replacements.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, health codes, and company standards.

- Establish vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts for maintenance, repairs, and equipment procurement.

- Monitor maintenance budgets and optimize cost efficiency without compromising quality.

- Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify potential issues.

- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly to minimize downtime.

- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for facility maintenance.

- Collaborate with operations, fitness, and management teams to align maintenance efforts with business goals.

Key of Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in facility maintenance or operations management, preferably in the fitness, hospitality, or retail industry.

- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

- Experience in managing vendor contracts, negotiations, and budgeting.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

- Strong communication and organizational skills.

- Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

- Ability to travel to multiple gym locations as needed. Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications in facility management or related technical skills.

- Experience in managing multi-site operations.

- Understanding of fitness equipment maintenance and repairs.
