About The Role

Account Executive drives sales execution by building merchant relationships, providing consultative solutions, and onboarding new merchants. They address merchant needs, monitor market trends, support local sales initiatives, and ensure smooth administrative processes while continuously developing their skills.

What Will You Do

  • Actively relate to leads provided through Motion Standard and Virtual Engagement.
  • Routinely conduct business review session and proactively giving solution to merchants in order to grow their business through consultative selling motion.
  • Determine the problems faced by merchants and help solve them, including those related to merchant spending, troubleshooting, document changes or adding new outlets, entities or brands.
  • Actively observe competitor movements and market movements.
  • Actively penetrate their areas by onboarding new merchants and always observing the area through canvassing days.
  • Actively support the city's focus projects (Merchant Partnership, Assortment and Merchant Spending).
  • Ensure the submission and administration process (advertisements, promotions, changes to agreements, additional outlets) are on time, including complaints from merchants and also always submit to Area Sales Manager and seek assistance from the right Person In Charge.
  • Routinely attend training, socialize new products and develop skills.

What Will You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field with min. 2 years relevant experience in FMCG/Telecommunication/Tech company
  • Good business sense and have good understanding of the markets, customers, and competitors.
  • Has existing relationship or able to bridge, develop, and maintain good relationship with key partner.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fact-based/number-oriented individual and able to interpret data to make data-driven decisions.
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Preferably has spent significant time (>1 year) in representative area, strong network, and knowledge about the region will be a plus.

About The Team

An Account Executive will work as a team within a certain Area under Region Operations team. Ideally, they regularly visits assigned merchants to see what really happened on the ground as well as providing necessary advice to them in increasing transaction overtime. They will collaborate across streams, such as Operations and Users Growth.
