We are seeking an experienced SAP Retail Consultant with expertise in SD (Sales and Distribution) and CAR (Customer Activity Repository) modules to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing consulting services, implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP solutions tailored to retail business processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the retail industry, combined with a strong technical background in SAP, specifically within SD and CAR modules.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead or support the implementation of SAP Retail solutions, focusing on SD and CAR.
- Conduct detailed analysis of client business requirements and translate them into SAP configurations.
- Configure SAP modules (SD and CAR) to align with business processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Retail-Specific Expertise:
- Provide expertise in retail-specific processes such as pricing, promotions, customer activity tracking, and loyalty programs within the SAP environment.
- Work with clients to understand retail-specific challenges, helping optimize their SAP systems.
System Integration:
- Coordinate integration between SAP Retail and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, WM, FICO) and third-party systems.
- Ensure seamless data flow and processes between SAP systems and other tools, such as e-commerce platforms, CRM, and POS systems.
Project Management and Delivery:
- Assist in managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Provide support during the various stages of the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, blueprinting, testing, training, and go-live.
Training and Support:
- Train end-users and stakeholders on SAP Retail systems, focusing on the SD and CAR functionalities.
- Provide post-go-live support and system maintenance, including troubleshooting, resolving issues, and optimizing existing functionality.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP developments, trends in the retail industry, and emerging technologies to advise clients on potential system enhancements and upgrades.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the SAP environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- In-depth experience with SAP specifically SD (Sales and Distribution) and CAR (Customer Activity Repository).
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, and integration with other SAP modules.
- Familiarity with SAP Retail functionalities, including pricing, promotions, and retail reporting.
- Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization within SD and CAR.
- Knowledge of integration between SAP and third-party systems, especially in the retail domain.
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience as an SAP consultant, specifically SD and CAR.
- Proven track record of end to end successfully delivering SAP implementation projects in the retail industry of at least 3-5 years.
- Experience with SAP testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Experience in leading workshops and training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SAP Certification (SD or CAR) is preferred.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, business users, and technical teams.
