Mine Engineer - Exploration

An Indonesian mining company which operates the copper and gold mining and have a long-term expected mine life followed by processing stockpiles.

To support our Exploration Operations team on our project at Sumbawa Barat, NTB, we are looking for highly motivated and experienced professional to fill the following position:

Some of your duties will include:

1. Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production targets based on the annual mining schedule.
2. Plan daily and weekly production equipment requirements, including road construction in line with the mining schedule, disposal, tailing dumping, and plant supply.
3. Reconcile models vs. ROM vs. plant feeders, as well as weekly and monthly mining progress.
4. Collaborate with the Geotechnical and Geohydro teams to update pit slope stability, drainage systems within the pit, and water control measures.
5. Work closely with the Grade Control and Geology Modeling teams for daily and weekly Ore Getting planning.
6. Coordinate with mining and blasting contractors to prepare mining blocks, schedule blasting activities, and reconcile blasting fragmentation and actual grades vs. model grades.
7. Work alongside the Metallurgy team to plan daily and weekly ore feeding to the processing plant.
8. Collaborate with the Land Access team for planning mining blocks, core and non-core infrastructure, in alignment with waste disposal and tailing schedules.

What skills and experience do you need:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering. Placement in West Sumbawa, NTB. Preferably male.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in open-pit mining operations and short-term planning for Au-Ag commodities.
3. Proficient in Whittle, Datamine, and Surpac software.
4. Holds a PoP competency certificate.
5. Ability to develop and actualize monthly OPEX and CAPEX plans.
6. Ability to work in a remote/mining site environment
