Job Description:

As a Claim Non-MV Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the non-motor vehicle (Non-MV) claims process, ensuring timely and accurate claim settlements while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will lead a team of claim handlers, providing guidance and support to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and manage the Non-MV claims team, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of claims.
  2. Review and approve claim settlements within authorized limits.
  3. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Investigate and resolve complex or disputed claims, providing expert guidance and solutions.
  5. Monitor claim trends and provide insights to improve processes and reduce risks.
  6. Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting and legal, to ensure seamless claim resolution.
  7. Train, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  8. Prepare and present regular reports on claim activities, performance, and outcomes to senior management.
  9. Maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and third-party service providers.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insurance claims, with a focus on Non-Motor Vehicle claims.
  3. Proven experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
  4. Strong knowledge of insurance policies, regulations, and claim handling procedures.
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  7. Proficient in using claim management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  9. Professional certification in insurance (e.g., AII, AAIK, or equivalent) is a plus.
