- Embed I CAN READ’s vision, mission, core values (TIPPER), and all organisational practices.
- Act as a champion for cultivating and maintaining the company culture as a key aspect of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
- Training Needs Analysis and Planning
- Conduct regular training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and areas for growth.
- Develop and implement an annual training plan tailored to organisational and individual development requirements.
- Programme Design and Delivery
- Design, curate, and deliver engaging training programmes, including onboarding, orientation, and core skills training.
- Coordinate with external training providers and resource speakers where appropriate.
- Continuous Learning and Development
- Promote a culture of lifelong learning across the organisation by facilitating development opportunities for all staff levels.
- Support talent management initiatives, ensuring high-potential employees are nurtured through targeted development programmes.
- Effectiveness Measurement
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives using key performance indicators and feedback mechanisms.
- Prepare performance reports with actionable insights to inform future training strategies and interventions.
- Strategic Support
- Collaborate with leadership to align training initiatives with business goals and organisational strategies.
- Provide recommendations for strategic and tactical improvements based on training performance analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience in learning and development, with a focus on non-academic training.
- Strong understanding of training methodologies, instructional design, and facilitation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyse data and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Familiarity with talent management frameworks and employee engagement strategies.
- Resourceful and adaptable, with a passion for fostering a learning-centric culture.
