Job Description:
- Working in a multi-geo talented software team developing software drivers for System Example Design(SED) targeting various FPGA development kits (Agilex 7, Agilex 5, etc.).
- Technical lead for SED project(s) and will own and work with various teams to drive resolution to software requirements for the project.
- Collaborate closely with IP design team, hardware team, validation team, Planning, Marketing and CEG (Customer Experience Group) to bring the design from concept to production to release to customers.
- A Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or related field.
- 9+ years of experience in developing software drivers for Linux system, Embedded systems with FPGA
- Strong experience in C/C++ Programming skill
- Strong experience in debugging Kernel mode drivers and crash dump analysis is a MUST
- Strong experience with ARM* HPS(Hard Processor System) Kernel software stack
- Strong experience with Linux Yocto-based platform and Yocto project
- Strong experience with PCIe protocol, PCIe device drivers.
- Experience board bring up is required
- Experience working with source control system such as Github, Perforce
- Strong communication skill with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts to resolve issue.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to details
- Experience with Linux driver upstream process
- Experience working with FPGA System Example Design solutions
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and development methodologies.
- Familiar with bug tracking system (e.g. Jira, HSD-ES) is a plus
