About The Role

Gojek is looking for a data-driven problem solver to drive the strategy and execution of our Ads products. As the Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of the leading display ads business and new ads inventory development end to end from merchant to consumer implementation. You will be responsible for the growth of the display ads business and contribute directly to the overall ads revenue with new inventories This is a high-impact role in which during the 6 months you will lead initiatives and work together with cross-functional teams across the Business, Design, Engineering, and Operation to solve business problems such as Acquisition, Retention, and Profitability, through utilizing data-driven insights and fast iterations to millions of users in Indonesia.

What You Will Do

  • Identify user needs and pain points, turn them into product insight/action and roadmaps, and collaborate with teams across functions to drive it into reality (including but not limited to: Engineering, Design, Data, Research, Business, Ops, Marketing)
  • Write specs, create wireframes, create launch plan, conduct necessary gradual rollouts or A/B Testing, share learning iteratively with stakeholders, and iterate products to the next level
  • Create analysis, identify, and propose solutions with optimal trade-offs for the ads ecosystem.
  • Build and prioritize roadmaps based on customer needs and strategic business impact. Act as the champion of the roadmap, responsible for influencing and driving common understanding across the cross-functional team
  • Translate and proactively monitor data and key metrics into product insights and improvements.
  • Showcase detail-oriented thinking in both Business and Engineering processes.

What You Will Need

  • 3+ years of working experience in the product management space, preferably in a consumer-facing product role.
  • BE degree or equivalent practical experience would be a plus
  • Possess basic/ intermediate understanding of ads business. Understand ad ecosystems, including the factors that drive the unit economics, competitive landscapes, and overall customer journey.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset. You are proactive and independent, able to ask for help and talk with everyone across cross-team members.
  • Strong communication skills, and ability to summarize complex and technical topics to a wide range of audiences.
  • Data-driven thinking. You make decisions based on supporting insights and data. You can identify and prioritize the right usage of measurement metrics for different problems in ads and also familiarity/understanding of SQL.
  • Possess a growth mindset and curiosity. Have track records of continuously evolving your understanding of a domain, and thriving in a fast-moving environment.
