Role and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Guidance and Support: Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive HR issues, including providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and managing terminations.
  • Talent Acquisition: Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles. Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Compensation and Benefits Analysis: Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Talent review & Succession Planning: Facilitate the talent review and provide the inputs including work with the Group Company on succession planning and prepare the talent pipeline to support the business direction.
  • Learning and Development: Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Employee Relations: Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Maintain employee satisfaction and resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with local employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices. Review policies and practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • HR Trends and Best Practices: Stay updated on trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
  • Policy Development: Develop and maintain clear policies and ensure policy awareness across the organization.
  • HR Reporting: Create clear and concise human resource reports and analyses.
  • Office Administration: Oversee office administration tasks to ensure smooth operational support. Provide general administration support, including access card management, office supply maintenance, and vendor coordination for services such as visa preparation, hotel and flight bookings, and office management.
  • Cost Management: Manage cost-efficient and cost-effective delivery of office administration services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and preferred skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive HR management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in the production and logistics industry.
  • In-depth knowledge and clear understanding of Indonesia Labor Law and international HR regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and manage complex HR functions, aligning with current labor laws and organizational policies.
  • Proven experience in strategic HR planning, executive talent management, and organizational development.
  • Proficiency with advanced HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Strong command of the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail.
