As a Warehouse Manager, you will manage various operations at a facility (on-site based in Batam Kepulauan Riau-Indonesia. You will work within general methods and procedures and exercises considerable independent judgment to select proper courses of action. In this role, you will require the knowledge of the policies, procedures and regulations of administrative and departmental programs, and supervisory techniques, personnel policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Plan and managing warehouse operations and systems and devise ways to streamline processes
- Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations
- Manage schedules and deadlines
- Handling stocks, transportation costs, delivery times, supervising staff and implement safety protocols at warehouse
- negotiating with service providers to meet the time lines
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Associates’ Degree (U.S.)/College Diploma (Canada)
- Prior experience with problem solving moderate to complex issues/2-5 years
- Prior experience with effective communication with all levels in an organization/2-5 years
- Knowledge of office travel management processes/2-5 years
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and Outlook/2-5 years
- Proven knowledge of vendor selection, competitive bidding, contract negotiations and evaluation procedures/ 2-5 years, preferred
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles/ 2-5 years, preferred
- Leadership and team management skills 2-5 years, preferred
