Role Summary:
The Senior Marketing Manager in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry plays a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive consumer engagement, and boost sales. This position focuses on creating effective campaigns that resonate with target audiences, leveraging both traditional and digital marketing channels. The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee product positioning, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure consistent messaging that aligns with the company’s goals and brand values in the highly competitive F&B sector.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategy Development & Execution
- Lead the creation and implementation of innovative marketing strategies tailored to the F&B sector, ensuring alignment with business objectives and consumer trends
- Develop campaigns that highlight product quality, sustainability, and unique selling propositions (USPs) for different product categories
- Drive brand positioning, working to differentiate the company’s products in a crowded marketplace
2. Campaign Management
- Design, launch, and manage 360-degree marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, print, TV, in-store, events) to increase brand visibility and customer loyalty
- Develop product launch strategies for new F&B items, from ideation to execution, ensuring maximum market impact
- Measure and report on the performance of campaigns, using metrics such as sales growth, market share, and consumer engagement to evaluate success and optimize strategies
3. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance on campaign execution, market research, and creative development
- Foster collaboration across marketing, design, product development, and sales teams to ensure cohesive execution of marketing strategies
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to ensure campaign delivery and quality
4. Market Research & Consumer Insights
- Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, preferences, and competitors in the F&B space, leveraging data to inform strategy and product development
- Analyze consumer behavior and feedback to continuously improve marketing tactics and product offerings
- Utilize insights from customer data to build targeted marketing strategies that cater to specific demographics and regional preferences
5. Brand Management
- Oversee the company’s brand identity, ensuring consistent messaging and visual standards across all marketing materials, packaging, and promotional activities
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines that reflect the company’s values, commitment to quality, and customer-centric approach
- Work on co-branding and partnership opportunities that enhance brand exposure, such as collaborations with influencers, food bloggers, and restaurants
6. Digital Marketing Leadership
- Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media campaigns, SEO, PPC, email marketing, influencer collaborations, and online advertising
- Innovate in digital content creation, such as recipe videos, food photography, and interactive content, to engage with target consumers
- Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and tools to incorporate the latest techniques into marketing strategies
7. Retail & In-store Marketing
- Develop strategies for in-store promotions, packaging design, product displays, and point-of-sale materials that enhance the consumer shopping experience
- Work with retail partners to execute co-branded campaigns, in-store events, and sampling programs to drive sales and brand recognition
- Monitor product placement and visibility in retail locations to ensure alignment with brand goals
8. Budget and Resource Management
- Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across campaigns, product categories, and channels
- Ensure marketing spend is aligned with business goals and delivers a strong return on investment (ROI)
- Track and optimize budget usage to improve cost-efficiency without compromising on creativity or quality
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 7-10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3-5 years in the F&B industry
- Proven success in managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand development
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media strategies, influencer partnerships, and SEO/SEM tactics
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Knowledge of food trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape within the F&B industry
