Digital Commerce Business Development Manager
Job Purpose/Overview:
Digital Commerce of Mars Pet Nutrition Indonesia has been rapidly growing, leading to an increased channel contribution year on year (2% in 2021 to 5% in 2024). Despite this great success of performance, we, Mars only contributes 7% of total online business with estimated value market 153 MUSD. This role is responsible to make it easy for Pet Parents in Indonesia to find Mars Pet Nutrition products whenever and wherever they shop online, whether it's in our official store or other online commerce type such as pet shop click and mortar, quick commerce or omni channel of our offline retailers. This role is instrumental in inspiring internal and external stakeholders to jointly drive category growth and to be ahead of category growth, and is the owner of growth, profitability, and market share of digital commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to NSV and profitability achievement of Mars Pet Nutrition SEA Connected commerce and Mars Pet Nutrition Indonesia in a sustainable and profit accretive manners.
- Apply strong monitoring process to ensure plans are on strategy and executed with excellence across touch points and align with sales target and budget.
- Negotiate strategic and mutual contractual partnership with customer of assigned channel within Indonesia Connected commerce channel.
- Measures and tracking process for continuous improvement of assigned customer/channel within Indonesia connected commerce channel includes platform performance, operational metrics, scope of work, service level, and TE Investment spend Includes ROI, market share etc.
- Influence internal & external stakeholders and processes to cultivate performance driven culture. This includes discipline use of data analytics to make fact-based choices.
- Collaborate with cross functional team for the right level of support to be deliver both short and long-term objective.
- Work closely with SEA and Global D-comm Community to learn and share insights/experience for continuous capabilities building and performance improvement.
Job Specifications/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Digital Commerce, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3-4 years & above sales background with experience in managing FMCG business, experience in e-commerce channel is a must.
- Experience in FMCG e-commerce/omnichannel key account management, distributor management process.
- Understanding of category management/leadership.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Willing to travel (domestic and occasionally international).
