Job Summary:
We are seeking an independent and proactive Business Development Manager to spearhead our customer acquisition efforts in Jakarta. This role is pivotal in identifying, engaging, and securing new business opportunities that align with Techwaukee’s service offerings. The ideal candidate will leverage market insights and existing networks to drive growth and build strong client relationships in a competitive IT landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
- Independently identify and pursue new customer opportunities in Jakarta.
- Utilize market research and local networking to build a robust pipeline of prospects.
- Relationship Management:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and recommending tailored IT solutions.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Manage the complete sales cycle—from prospecting and initial engagement to proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align client requirements with our service capabilities.
- Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to strategically position Techwaukee in the marketplace.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights.
- Brand Representation:
- Represent Techwaukee at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in business development, IT consulting, or related fields.
- Proven track record in business development within the IT or tech consulting industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Jakarta market with an established network of industry contacts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (mandatory).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results.
- Familiarity with IT consulting, staff augmentation, and contract-based resource deployment.
- Basic technical understanding of key domains such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft technologies, .Net, Java, AngularJS, AI, Python, Data Engineering, and cloud technologies.
- Eligibility: Must be local to Jakarta with the legal right to work in Indonesia. No visa sponsorship will be provided for this role.

- Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
