Grant & Data Management Lead
The Grant & Data Management Lead will contribute to achieving high quality program implementation in the Learning Environment Department (stunting reduction, early stimulation and education, and basic education) by ensuring effective partnerships and evidence-based lessons learned are in place. S/he reports to the Learning Environment Head, and works closely with the programmatic leads. S/he line manages the Grant Management Coordinator, and the Data Analysts.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Strategy and Planning
- Enhance the department’s program implementation strategies through identifying potential & effective partnerships to achieve institutional goal
- Lead the development of matching-fund opportunities that align with the foundation’s vision and mission.
- Enhance the data-driven programmatic decision through the provision of valid and reliable monitoring data at national and sub-national levels.
2. Programmatic Partners Management
- Supervise the department’s implementation partners in achieving the set objectives in within the timeframe, and align with the operating standards procedures.
- Manage the induction sessions for all of the department’s program partners with close coordination with the related departments to ensure they have suitable knowledge on the program, the operating standards procedures, and the foundation in general.
- Lead the monitoring and evaluation of the implementation partners’ performance and governance qualities.
3. Monitoring Data Management
- Lead the monitoring activities to all projects in within the department, at national and sub-national levels.
- Develop and manage thematic studies/research as needed by the department in providing deeper analysis to the programmatic design.
- Contribute to the foundation’s targets and evaluation actions.
- Lead the regular reflection for the programmatic teams and field operation team for early gap detection and mitigation.
4. Knowledge Sharing
- Contribute, and/or participate in any related knowledge sharing and capacity development sessions, to disseminate, advocate and build collective knowledge on basic education and early childhood education sectors.
5. Administration
- Handle overall administration process that include contracts and procurement, technical reports, output tracking, databases, budget and financial tracking reports.
REQUIREMENTS
- Obtain master degree in social studies, education, psychology, statistics, and other as relevant;
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in NGO's project management or relevant social and humanity programs; International setting organization/project with operations experience in education sector are preferable.
- Having experience at monitoring and evaluation of human development initiatives such as early childhood education and basic education programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including with the government counterparts.
- Excellent attention to details.
- Proven critical thinking and data analysis (quantitative and/or qualitative).
- Proven ability to work independently yet a team person.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
