Essential Functions:
Financial Oversight:
- Oversee all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local financial regulations, tax laws, and IFRS/IAS standards.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and ensure the financial health of the subsidiary.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the subsidiary’s growth and operational goals.
- Collaborate with local and HQ management to align financial planning with overall business objectives.
Cost Control & Efficiency:
- Analyze and optimize operational costs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and improve financial efficiency across all departments.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rate, and operational risks.
- Ensure proper internal controls and audit compliance to safeguard company assets.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing guidance and support to ensure the team meets its objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance function.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and smooth operations.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making by the management team.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus (such as Chinese).
