We are seeking a creative and strategic Communications & Digital Engagement to elevate Mitra BUMMA’s voice across digital platforms. This role will be instrumental in shaping how we tell our story, engage with our community, and amplify indigenous leadership in climate solutions. You’ll manage our digital communications, craft compelling content, and build relationships with key audiences—including funders, partners, and the communities we serve.

Qualification and Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in communications, social media management, or digital marketing.
  • Background in storytelling, journalism, or nonprofit communications preferred.
  • Strong writing and storytelling abilities with a keen eye for beautiful photos.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content creation tools (Canva, or similar).
  • Ability to analyze engagement metrics and refine digital strategies accordingly.
  • Familiarity with website management (Squarespace) and email marketing platforms (Mailchimp).
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Passion for environmental justice, indigenous rights, and social impact.
  • Collaborative, open to feedback, and eager to learn from diverse perspectives.
  • Thoughtful and intentional in communicating across different cultural contexts.
