About The Role

Tentang Anak is looking for a dynamic Head of E-Commerce to drive our online marketplace and direct-to-consumer (D2C) growth. You will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact strategies to grow sales, optimize operations, and enhance customer experience.

This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and deep expertise in e-commerce trends, online consumer behavior, and platform management. You will oversee all marketplace operations, sales growth initiatives, and digital marketing efforts to ensure Tentang Anak becomes a market leader in parenting and family products.

Job Responsibilities

E-Commerce Growth Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy for marketplace platforms (Shopee, Tokopedia, TikTok Shop) and D2C channels.
  • Identify growth opportunities, analyze trends, and optimize sales performance through pricing strategies, promotions, and demand forecasting.
  • Ensure revenue growth across all e-commerce touchpoints while maintaining strong brand positioning.

Sales & Revenue Optimization

  • Own GMV and P&L responsibility, ensuring sustainable revenue and profit growth.
  • Implement data-driven pricing, bundling, and promotional strategies to maximize sales.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce customer acquisition costs (CAC) and increase customer lifetime value (CLV).

Operational Excellence & Marketplace Management

  • Oversee end-to-end marketplace operations, including listing optimization, fulfillment, logistics, and payment processes.
  • Work closely with internal teams and e-commerce enablers to optimize supply chain, and delivery efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with marketplace partners, negotiating joint promotions, exclusive deals, and advertising placements.

Data Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Utilize data analytics and insights to improve e-commerce sales performance.
  • Monitor key e-commerce KPIs (e.g., conversion rates, average order value, repeat purchase rate).
  • Conduct competitive analysis to stay ahead of market trends and optimize performance.

Customer Experience & Loyalty Programs

  • Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement and increase retention
  • Collaborate with CRM and marketing teams to implement personalized recommendations, loyalty programs, and customer journey improvements.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing e-commerce team, fostering a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and continuous improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to drive e-commerce success.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in FMCG, retail, or beauty brands.
  • Proven track record in scaling e-commerce revenue (preferably handling sales ≥ IDR 25 billion/month).
  • Expertise in marketplace platform management (Shopee, Tokopedia, TikTok Shop) and direct-to-consumer (D2C) strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of performance marketing, SEO, CRM, and digital advertising.
  • Experience with P&L management, sales forecasting, and e-commerce analytics.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly analytical mindset with experience using Google Analytics, Data Studio, or other e-commerce tracking tools.
