Our client, a leading player in the tech industry, is seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead their operations in Indonesia. This position is based in South Jakarta or Tangerang and requires a bilingual professional with strong English proficiency. As Country Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring overall profitability in the Indonesian market. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of leadership, market knowledge, and sales expertise in the tech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning and Execution

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth, market share, and brand recognition in Indonesia.

• Align local strategies with the company’s global objectives and goals.

• Business Development and Market Expansion

• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company’s footprint.

• Lead market research initiatives to understand customer needs, competition, and emerging trends.

• Sales Leadership and Revenue Management

• Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets by overseeing sales strategies and ensuring effective execution.

• Manage key accounts, build strong relationships, and lead contract negotiations with major clients.

• Team Leadership and Talent Development

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing local team across various functions.

• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment focused on excellence and growth.

• Operational Oversight

• Ensure efficient and effective operations, including compliance with local regulations.

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support financial and operational decisions.

• Manage the country's P&L and ensure financial targets are met, reporting regularly to the head office.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all major projects.

• Ensure excellent client service and long-term satisfaction, fostering repeat business and referrals.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of designers, project managers, and support staff.

• Brand Management and Public Relations

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and media engagements to strengthen brand positioning.

• Collaborate with marketing teams to execute campaigns and drive brand visibility in the market.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or operations in the tech industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Language Skills: Bilingual with strong proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

• Skills:

• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing P&L.

• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Deep understanding of the Indonesian market, including regulations and cultural nuances.

• Proficiency in CRM and ERP tools is an advantage.
