Reporting directly to the CEO, this senior leadership role is responsible for overseeing the marketing efforts, and you will be leading a team of diverse background.

Being part of the team, you are required to design and develop company strategies for marketing and managing the execution. Other responsibilities include:

  • Defining and overseeing the brand positioning and messaging to differentiate the company with the competitors.
  • Developing and implementing brand and marketing strategies (both online and offline) that align with the company's vision and business objectives.
  • Leading and mentoring the high-performance marketing team and fostering a collaborative and respectful culture.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of marketing professionals, including designers and creative team.
  • Conducting market analysis to identify trends, insights, competitive landscape and using these finding to form strategic marketing plans.
  • Supporting product development by bringing local insights and test the products in local market.
  • Developing and managing the marketing budget, and ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
  • Introducing branding strategies, and also involved in the ATL and BTL initiatives.
  • Executing a strong internal and external communications with all stakeholders to develop clear market positioning.
  • Developing short-term and long-term plans and budgets for overall marketing programs to be in line with the company's objectives.
  • Working closely with other cross-functional team: sales, trade marketing, R&D, operation to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
  • Ability to work and manage with external agencies.
  • Introducing creative ideas that will enable the brand to be at the consumers' minds.


The Successful Applicant

Our client is looking for a high caliber individual with an impressive track record in consumer-driven marketing, and someone who is willing to be hands on. This role is only opened to Indonesian who had experience working in the local market, with preference in the FMCG category. Excellent English communication in both verbal and written is a must.

Other requirements include:

  • At least 15 years of working management experience in marketing, with MNC and FMCG experience is preferred.
  • Master's degree, or MBA from a top tier business school are optional, but Bachelor's from related degree is a must.
  • Proven track records in executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Experience in working with big successful brands with limited budget.
  • Strong leadership with excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to set clear measurable objectives, delegate responsibilities, assesses, recognise and reward performance.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a great personality and ability to make decisions.
  • Excellent business acumen and willingness to be hands-on, and work within tight deadlines.
  • High commitment, motivation and flexibility.
  • Drive and hunger to achieve results Independent, self-starter and initiative, and the ability to work in fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
